PGM Shader; Mountains for Blender 2.8x Cycles
PGM Shader for Mountains. The Default mountain for this shader was made with this shader, but you can alter the shape and look of the mountain using the sliders.
This shader only works in Cycles, since Displacement only works in cycles. I set up a default scene that you can start with. I tried to apply the shader to a mesh from scratch and for some reason it doesn't displace that mesh. So when you append the Shader, also append the mesh as well.
I set up a good HDRI World node setup with Gamma, Contrast and Brightness nodes and some others as well so you can get a really good look to your HDRI lighting.
You will need to provide the image textures for the mountain and for the HDRI or create your own procedural material and connect it to the corresponding color slot. But it is all set up for you, all you need to do is add the Images and adjust the look.
Enjoy!
The blend file contains the Shader+Mesh, and the image texture nodes with the proper mapping and coordinates nodes.
